Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub
BCHS features a dedicated Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub. This specialist team is dedicated to supporting people of all genders and sexual orientations. The hub is staffed by male and female nurses and doctors.
The hub provides a range of confidential services, such as:
- Contraception services and advice, including IUDs
- Men’s sexual health (ie, erectile disfunction)
- Women’s sexual health
- Cervical screenings
- Perimenopause / menopause support
- Free condoms – also available in the waiting room
- Free sanitary products – also available in the waiting room
- Free meningococcal C and hepatitis vaccines
- Anti-HIV medication PrEP
- Tests for all blood borne viruses and sexually transmittable infections
- Testing, support and advice for both planned and unplanned pregnancies
- Pregnancy options, including termination
