Coronavirus (COVID-19) has had a big impact on our whole community.
Our Settlement Services team has produced information sheets and videos explaining the Coronavirus threat translated in Karen, Dari and Dinka.
The information has been gathered from the Department of Health and Human Services and our Medical Practice Clinicians.
We have produced this information in support of our Karen, Afghan and South Sudanese communities.

Our journey so far … We are very proud of our staff who work to support refugee communities. We were asked what we had done since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. Fire, Flood, and Heat Safety Resources
Summer can be a dangerous time in Australia.
Bushfires can be destructive and deadly so it’s very important you understand how to stay safe and what to do if a fire breaks out in your area.
Summer thunderstorms can cause flash flooding.
Extreme summer temperatures can lead to serious health issues such as dehydration and heatstroke.
Thunderstorm Asthma and hay fever are other issues that can effect your lifestyle.
Be careful when swimming in any water and be wary of snakes when out and about in bushland or around water and learn what to do if bitten.
