Bendigo Community Health Services provides specialist health and wellbeing services to young people aged 12-25, via our general practitioner (GP) and allied health clinics, Doctors in Secondary Schools program, and headspace Bendigo.
Youth Clinic
Our services are confidential, and our clinicians are caring and non-judgemental. We can help you with:
- Sexual health information and advice
- Pregnancy support and advice
- Contraception and advice
- Sexually transmissible infection and blood borne virus testing
- Emergency contraception
- Free condoms in the reception rooms of our sites
- Irregular period cycles
- Counselling
- Alcohol and other drugs support
- LGBTIQA+ support
- General health
- Quit smoking
- Diabetes.
Accessing youth services
Mental health
headspace Bendigo provides mental health and wellbeing services, as well as GP appointments. The Work and Placement Team can assist with pathways to education and work experience.
Referrals
No referrals are needed to our youth clinic.
Costs
Appointments to our youth clinic are free for people under the age of 18. See our fees page for more details.
