Quit Smoking and Vaping

Find essential, understanding and non-judgemental support to quit smoking or vaping. Our Quit Smoking and Vaping Program is for all ages and involves a series of one-on-one consultations that include support and strategies designed to meet your individual needs. The program is facilitated by Kate Bradshaw, a trained and experienced Quit educator and Community Health Nurse who is also Alfred Lung Health Promotion Centre trained.

The Quit Program includes:

  • Education on Nicotine Replacement Therapy
  • Understanding nicotine addiction
  • Understanding withdrawal
  • Understanding triggers and identifying ways to help reduce them
  • Developing plans and strategies to assist you to reduce smoking or vaping.

The initial appointment is for 1 hour with half an hour follow-up sessions.

Accessing the service

The Quit Smoking and Vaping Program is free and there are no referral requirements. Anyone can contact us to arrange an appointment on (03) 5406 1200.

Appointments are available each Wednesday. If you require a different day, please call us to arrange this.

If you’ve already been through the program but would like further support, you are more than welcome to come back.

Make an appointment with your GP to arrange a script for NRT products listed on the PBS system, such as patches and gum.
